Norfolk Public City Schools

Recently, I enrolled my child into the Norfolk Public School system.  Hoping that she would continue to stay on the honor roll in a city school, I decided to keep a very close eye on her homework, and the things that she have been studying.

I enrolled her into Coleman Place Elementary in the Norfolk City area, and she has a very nice teacher, however I am seeing little to no homework assignments and that greatly concerns me. 

I registered in the Esemble program, where parents get to keep up with the grades there kids have, and even get to put alerts on the childs progress.  This is very good way of helping working parents to stay in touch with what is going on in the classroom.

I'm hoping that as the year progresses, I will begin to see more work coming home, especially graded work.
