I recently moved to the Norfolk Public School area, and enrolled my daughter in one of the many Norfolk City Public Schools. 

Coleman Place Elementary is a newly contructed school, located in the Norfolk City area.  Upon entering the school, it is a very large school, with both downstairs classes and upstairs classes.  This school has grades third to fifth.  It's halls and classes are very clean and well kept.

The Norfolk City school system is a having a spring fundraiser. 
It is a good opportunity to allow your child to partiicpate in raising funds to help there school.  They will be selling Krispy Kreme Donuts, called "Donuts for Dollars".

The fundraising project will begin on Friday, April 4, 2008. 

Each student at Coleman Place Elementary will benefit from this fundraising project, because all the proceeds from each of the schools, will go toward the end...

Norfolk City Public School Information

Recently the Virginia General Assembly passed a law requiring that all grades 6 and up studenst have a tetanus, pertusis, diphtheria, Tdap, booster shot if they have not had one in at least five years.
